Job Overview

Payflex Terminal is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who thrives on connecting with people, generating qualified leads, and representing an innovative brand in the POS and payment technology industry. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, conducting product demos, managing client relationships, and representing Payflex at industry events. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure every customer receives exceptional service and that sales targets are consistently achieved.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting at field, cold outreach, and event participation.
  • Generate qualified leads and demo requests through proactive sales efforts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of Payflex’s POS and payment solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Attend trade shows, expos, and industry events as a brand representative to generate leads and enhance market visibility.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies for territory growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to guide sales efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities through CRM tools.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective sales and upselling techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales, preferably in technology, POS, or retail solutions.
  • Strong lead generation and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • A confident, goal-oriented personality with strong sales temperament and closing skills.
  • Experience attending or representing companies at trade shows or industry events is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
